Making Fluffy Slime!

This slime recipe mades for puffy, fluffy slime that’s great for molding and mixing different colours together!

By adjusting ingredients it can be more like sand or a more fluid goop. It can be made unique in so many ways using glitters or food colouring.

Making Fluffy Slime!

Materials

  • 1/2 Cup Shampoo

  • 1/4 Cup Corn Starch (but have more as you may need it)

  • Water

  • Food Colouring (optional)

  • Measuring Tools (cups and spoons)

  • Bowl

Procedure

  1. Put 1/2 cup shampoo and 1/4 cup of corn starch in a bowl. Mix well.

  2. Add 3 drops of food colouring (optional).

  3. Add 1 tablespoon of water and stir. Slowly add 5 more tablespoons of water, stirring well after each one.

  4. Knead the slime for around 5 minutes and add any special ingredients. Add more water for a wetter, stretchier slime, bits of polystyrene beads to make popping slime or glitter for unicorn slime, for example.

  5. You will likely need to add more corn starch after you knead in order to thicken your slime. Add a tablespoon at a time or water if it dries out. Mix like this until you find the consistency you want!

This experiment is great for beginners, can be done with household ingredients but can be quite messy.
